RN Clinical Practice - Pulmonology

Job Summary

The RN functions as a member of the Healthcare team in a manner consistent with their scope of practice in Pennsylvania in concert with the policies and procedures of St. Christopher''s Hospital for Children. The RN is responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation & documentation of care provided, and patient response to interventions. The RN promotes image enhancement on the organization and its service.

Travels between main campus and satellite offices

Prescription refills

Telephone triage

Manage clinic flow and patient care (e.g. injections of specialty meds, etc).

Authorizations of specialty meds (e.g. Lupron, testosterone, growth hormone, diabetes supplies, etc).

Patient education (e.g. diabetes, other endocrine disorders, etc.)

Mon - Fri 8a - 4:30p. The scheduled start and end times require flexibility to meet the needs of the practice.

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing

Experience

• Experience required
• Peds experience preferred

• PA Registered Nurse License
• BLS Certification
