The Opportunity
This RN role is a 6-month contract with the potential to extend. You will work with many psych, mental health and behavioral health patients in a fast-paced setting. There are 3 shifts available: AM (6am - 230pm), PM (2pm to 1030pm) and NOC (10pm to 630am).
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care as a registered nurse in a clinic setting.
Assess patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
Administer medications and monitor patient responses.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards at all times.
Document care activities accurately in electronic health records.
Collaborate with physicians and care teams to optimize outcomes.
Monitor and report patient status to ensure timely interventions.
Meet or exceed performance metrics and maintain high productivity.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and share insights.
Participate in ongoing professional development and certification upkeep.
Educate patients and families on treatments, care plans, and self-care.
Experience/Qualifications
Active RN license in California with current BLS certification.
Clinic-based patient care experience and direct assessment skills.
Ability to administer medications and monitor effects per protocol.
Commitment to regulatory compliance and patient safety standards.
Proficient in electronic health records documentation and data privacy.
Strong collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
Ability to meet performance metrics and maintain high productivity.
Evidence-based practice mindset with ongoing professional development.
