Responsibilities:

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Director, the Registered Nurse utilizes the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered care. The RN performs nursing assessments, identifies patient needs, develops individualized care plans, implements appropriate interventions, and evaluates patient outcomes.

 
 
 
 
Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

Education

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program

Licensure & Certifications

  • Current Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH Stroke Scale

Experience & Skills

  • At least 2 years of experience in a PCU or higher-acuity setting strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Must attend applicable hospital training programs, including New Manager/Supervisor Orientation and Leadership Development courses
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
