Full Time - Three 12 Hour Shifts / Week Nights 7p-7a
Responsibilities:
Leads daily shift operations to ensure safe, high-quality patient care, efficient patient flow, and an exceptional patient experience.
Oversees staffing, patient assignments, and resource allocation based on patient acuity and operational needs.
Coordinates patient care and throughput with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to achieve quality and length-of-stay goals.
Serves as a clinical resource, providing direct patient care, mentoring staff, and supporting evidence-based practice.
Promotes a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement through rounds, huddles, and quality initiatives.
Supports team engagement, professional development, retention, and an inclusive, positive work environment.
Ensures compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and readiness requirements.
Models the mission, vision, and values of Baptist Health and Orlando Health while supporting strategic initiatives and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
Education/Training
Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
Meets all mandatory, developmental, and performance competency requirements for Baptist Health and unit/department.
Licensure/Certification
Maintains current State of Alabama RN license
Maintains current BLS/Healthcare Provider certification.
ACLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC are required for certain areas.
Experience
1 year experience required. Experience in Cardiac ICU preferred.
