    A Registered Nurse is needed for a Cardiology/Progressive Care Unit (PCU) on night shift (7p–7a) at a 198-bed, Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah in Farmington, NM.

    The role. This position supports a 24-bed Cardiology and Intermediate Care (IMC) unit caring for adult to geriatric patients with diagnoses including STEMI, NonSTEMI, stroke, post-cath, and ETOH. Night shift IMC nurses manage a ratio of 1:3 for patients with active titrating drips, and 1:4–5 for standard IMC patients, with Med/Surg ratios of 1:5–6. The unit is equipped with standard cardiology monitoring equipment including telemetry and T-1 monitors, IV pumps, and crash carts, and operates on the Cerner EHR platform.

    What we're looking for.

    • Associate degree in Nursing or higher
    • Current state RN license, or must obtain prior to start (open to candidates who do not currently hold New Mexico or Compact licensure)
    • Minimum 1 year of IMC or Cardiology experience required; 2 years preferred
    • Candidates must have at least 2 years of acute care experience
    • BLS required upon submission
    • All other required certifications can be obtained after hire

    Schedule. Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM.

    Compensation. $29.05 - $46.48/hr plus $2 sign-on bonus
