Primary Duties and Responsibilities

In this exciting and rewarding position, you will provide exceptional nursing care for our burn patients in our Burn Center and Burn ICU. This position reports to the Charge Nurse, and is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and providing high quality, individualized patient care using the components of the nursing process. You will offer guidance to team members by supervising nursing interventions and assigning related tasks. You will also assess patient, family and staff learning needs, deliver appropriate clinical education and promote effective working relationships. This involves collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of dedicated professionals to develop and implement a care plan, including providing detailed care instructions.
Salary Range $65.76-$97.76/hr
Job Qualifications

Current, valid CA RN License
BSN or MSN
2 years of acute RN experience required
BLS from the American Red Cross or the American Heart Association
ACLS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtained within 6 months of hire
PALS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtained within 6 months of hire
ABLS certification from the American Heart Association, or obtained within 6 months of hire
Ability to complete a Nursing physical assessment
Highly desired:
RN experience in Burn
As a condition of employment, the final candidate who accepts an offer of employment will be required to disclose if they have been subject to any final administrative or judicial decisions within the last seven years determining that they committed any misconduct; or have filed an appeal of a finding of substantiated misconduct with a previous employer.
