JOB RELATIONSHIPS Supervises RNs, LPNs, NAs, UCs and other Patient Care Services Employees; responsible to the Clinical Director. DEFINITION OF POSITION The Registered Nurse is responsible for planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of assigned patients. QUALIFICATIONS A.Professional Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina. Current NRP or obtain within 6 months of employment. Current AHA BLS certification required. ACLS if applicable Professional certification preferred. B.Personal Maintains good physical and emotional well-being. Works effectively with others, possessing tact, discretion and diplomacy. Evidence of knowledge and ability to use proper channels of communication Possesses a sense of responsibility, initiative and honesty.
