Job Description Summary:
The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for participating in patient assessments and providing care, education, and instruction to patients through symptom-based telephone and in-person triage. The RN ensures patients are educated and properly scheduled for care, follows protocols for patient treatment, and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to meet health service objectives. This position requires adherence to organizational policies, procedures, and all licensing and accreditation standards, while representing the organization’s mission in all actions and communications.
This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling options ranging from 12 to 36 hours per week. The selected schedule will consist of consistent, set shifts of 8 hours per day, typically scheduled Monday–Friday between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Occasional Saturday mornings may be required. The specific number of hours and schedule will be determined based on the needs of the clinic and the availability of the selected candidate.
This position is onsite at our Heart of the City Health Center – Adult Medicine.

One year of professional clinical nursing experience required. Family practice experience preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties of the job.
