Purpose of the role
To provide support to the Chief Risk Officer(S) in the implementation and ongoing effectiveness of the bank's risk management framework across various business units and functions.

Join us as a Risk Governance and Controls VP, where you will help shape and strengthen the governance and control environment supporting strategic risk transfer and securitization activities. You will design, implement, and manage effective control frameworks while ensuring adherence to regulatory, audit, and risk-retention requirements. Working across the organization, you will partner with regulators, senior leaders, and key stakeholders to support sound governance and the successful delivery of structured risk initiatives. To be successful as a Risk Governance and Controls VP, you should have:
Experience in investment banking, wholesale banking, or capital markets
Expertise in securitization and strategic risk transfer activities
Knowledge of Structured Risk Transfer programs and Tranched Credit Risk Mitigation
Understanding of risk-retention requirements and relevant regulatory expectations
Other highly valued skills include:
Experience designing, implementing, and managing internal controls
Background in risk governance, audit support, and regulatory examinations
Relevant accounting knowledge related to securitization and structured transactions
Excellent relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage regulators, peers, and senior leadership
