    Description

    Our client is seeking an experienced Risk Control Manager to support its Construction business segment. This individual will serve as a trusted risk management advisor to insureds, brokers, underwriting teams, and other stakeholders, helping construction organizations identify, assess, and mitigate operational risks while fostering strong safety cultures.

    This position offers the opportunity to work with complex construction accounts, including large-scale projects and contractor-controlled insurance programs, while partnering closely with underwriting and client-facing teams to support profitable growth and effective risk management strategies.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the lead risk control resource for assigned construction accounts, driving engagement and delivering a high-quality client experience.
    • Evaluate construction operations, exposures, and safety programs through on-site and virtual risk assessments.
    • Support the review of large construction projects and wrap-up programs, identifying key hazards and recommending practical risk mitigation strategies.
    • Collaborate with underwriting partners to assess risk characteristics and contribute to account evaluation and strategy discussions.
    • Analyze loss trends, claims data, and other risk indicators to develop targeted recommendations that improve safety performance and reduce losses.
    • Design and deliver construction-focused risk management resources, educational programs, and training initiatives for clients and broker partners.
    • Prepare and participate in stewardship meetings, presentations, and strategic account reviews with insureds, brokers, and internal stakeholders.
    • Promote best practices related to construction safety, regulatory compliance, and operational risk management.
    • Remain current on industry developments, emerging risks, and evolving safety trends through ongoing professional development and industry involvement.
    • Travel periodically to client locations and construction sites as business needs require.
