Responsibilities
- Teach Nordic ski lessons to guests of all ages and abilities.
- Serve as Mountain Ambassador - welcoming, assisting and directing guests.
- Teach snowshoeing and Fat biking per experience and ability.
- Work as part of a team dedicated to creating the best possible environment for taking and teaching a lesson.
- Work cooperatively with all Rikert departments. Be prepared to assist other departments as needed.
- Perform other operational duties of the Outdoor Center as seen fit by the Director.
Compensation for this position is at $17.50/hour
Requirements
- Experience teaching Nordic skiing preferred
- Experience working with the public

Qualifications
- Ability to Nordic ski proficiently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to adapt to situations
- Ability to connect with people and understand group dynamics
- Knowledge of the safety procedures for missing or injured students and guests
Education & Training
- 21 years of age or older
- PSIA certification preferred but not required
