About Halo Land Management
Halo Land Management helps energy and infrastructure projects move from plan to reality. We partner with developers who build the systems that serve communities and support local growth. Our work depends on trust, clear communication, and respect for every landowner. As we grow, we are building a team that values ownership, care, and practical problem solving.
In this role, you will be part of our Ohio field team, helping landowners feel informed, heard, and respected while keeping projects moving forward.
The Role
As a Right of Way Agent, you will serve as a key point of contact between Halo, our clients, and local landowners. You will help secure easements, surface use agreements, access rights, and related documents for energy and infrastructure projects.
You will conduct landowner outreach, explain project details, negotiate agreements within approved authority, and maintain accurate documentation throughout the acquisition process. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, managing field assignments, and following through on commitments.
What You Will Do
Your days will include landowner outreach, field meetings, document review, negotiations, and team coordination. Some work will happen by phone or email. Other work will take place at a landowner’s kitchen table, during a route walk, or on a tract visit. You will manage your assignments while keeping the team informed of progress, challenges, and next steps.
You will partner with Project Managers, Title, GIS, Admin, field teams, and clients to resolve issues and keep project information accurate and current.
What You Bring
You bring strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to stay organized while managing multiple assignments. You are comfortable speaking with landowners, learning project requirements, and taking ownership of your work.
Prior utility, land acquisition, oil and gas, or infrastructure experience is valued. Familiarity with Ohio right of way projects and local land records is a plus.
