Position Details

Library Assistants provide front-line support for students, faculty, and staff by delivering friendly, helpful service and maintaining an organized, welcoming library environment. Library Assistants help welcome students and answer basic questions about library services, printing, tutoring, and computers. They check materials in and out, shelve returned items, process magazines, picks up mail, helps keep the library clean and organized, and assist with opening and closing duties. Other tasks are assigned by the library supervisor.
