We are seeking a skilled, independent, and compassionate Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to deliver exceptional acute care to pediatric patients presenting to the Seattle Children's Primary Care Group.
Important Note on Employment: While Seattle Children''s is managing the promotion of this opening, selected candidates will be hired as official employees of Richmond Pediatrics.
Position Overview
In this per diem role, you will provide direct clinical care and assume primary responsibility for the management of pediatric patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries. You will work independently in a primary care clinic setting during both standard and after-hours shifts.

Key Responsibilities
Clinic Hours & Schedule
Because this position covers acute and after-hours care, candidates must be available to work within the following operating hours:
Monday - Friday: 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Saturday - Sunday: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Weekend shifts are on a rotation)
Holidays: 9:00 am - 5:00 pm (Holiday shifts are on a rotation)
Work Experience
Required Education and Experience:
Master's degree in nursing with a concentration in a pediatric or family nurse practitioner program.
One year work experience in a pediatric or family focused clinical area.
Required Credentials:
Active, unencumbered registered nurse and advanced registered nurse practitioner licensure in the State of
Washington.
Current national certification as a pediatric or family nurse practitioner.
Active Drug Enforcement Authority registration.
At time of hire: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers.
Active clinical privileges as an Allied Health Provider, Seattle Children's Hospital.
Prior to start of employment, must obtain, and maintain in good standing, medical or allied health professional
staff privileges that are not limited, revoked, suspended, conditioned, or probationary, except for normal
probationary periods due to initial appointment.
Compensation range:
$90.00 per hour
