    Return / RGA Technician Jobs | Quality, Repair & Product Troubleshooting

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Return / RGA Technician to support our Quality team by processing customer returns, diagnosing product issues, performing repairs, and helping improve product quality. This position serves as the primary resource for returned products, working closely with Quality, Production, and Shipping & Receiving teams to ensure timely repairs and customer satisfaction.

    This role is ideal for candidates with experience in quality control, product repair, electronics repair, manufacturing, troubleshooting, field service, technical support, or inspection.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Receive, process, and track customer return authorizations (RMA/RGA).
    • Inspect returned products and identify failure modes or defects.
    • Troubleshoot, repair, and test products to ensure proper functionality.
    • Work closely with Shipping & Receiving to process incoming repairs and outgoing shipments.
    • Document repair activities, findings, and corrective actions.
    • Collect and analyze quality data to identify recurring issues and trends.
    • Assist with developing corrective and preventive actions to reduce defect rates.
    • Maintain accurate repair records, quality reports, and inspection documentation.
    • Ensure test equipment is properly calibrated and functioning correctly.
    • Report product quality concerns and trends to Quality leadership.
    • Support continuous improvement efforts within quality and repair operations.
    • Train and cross-train associates on repair processes and quality standards as needed.
    Qualifications
    • Associate degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • 5-7 years of related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
    • Previous experience in quality inspection, repair technician, field service, or technical troubleshooting roles preferred.
    • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
    • Experience collecting data and preparing reports.
    Knowledge & Skills
    • Strong understanding of product assembly, repair, and troubleshooting techniques.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
    • Ability to analyze product failures and identify root causes.
    • Experience working with quality metrics and performance measurements.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and continually evolving environment.
    • Ability to train and mentor team members.
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing and quality control environment.
