Title: RFGen Technical Consultant / RFGen Developer

Location: Mahwah, NJ
Salary Range: $45-$55 per hour on W2/C2C

We are seeking an experienced RFGen Technical Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in RFGen Version 6 upgrade, deployment, customization, and production support. The ideal candidate will have experience working with RFGen mobile solutions, ERP integrations, backend troubleshooting, and warehouse mobility systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform RFGen Version 6 upgrades, deployments, migrations, and technical support activities.
• Design, customize, and troubleshoot RFGen applications including workflows, forms, scripts, and mobile transactions.
• Develop and optimize SQL Server/Oracle queries, stored procedures, and database performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot backend issues, integrations, middleware connectivity, and application performance problems.
• Configure and support RFGen services, IIS/application servers, session management, and deployment environments.
• Develop and debug RFGen scripts, automation utilities, and data handling processes.
• Support integrations between RFGen and ERP platforms such as JD Edwards EnterpriseOne using APIs/Web Services.
• Troubleshoot and support XML, JSON, REST, and SOAP-based interfaces.
• Configure and support barcode scanning solutions, label printing, Client printers, and handheld scanner integrations.
• Manage RFGen package deployments, environment setup, migration activities, and production stabilization.
• Collaborate with functional and technical teams to resolve mobility and warehouse execution issues.

Required Technical Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with RFGen Version 6 upgrade, implementation, and support.
• Expertise in SQL Server/Oracle database development, queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RFGen scripting, workflow customization, form modifications, and debugging.
• Knowledge of VBA, automation scripting, and data utilities.
• Experience with ERP integrations (JD Edwards EnterpriseOne preferred).
• Strong understanding of IIS, application servers, middleware connectivity, and RFGen services.
• Experience troubleshooting REST/SOAP APIs, XML, JSON interfaces.
• Hands-on experience with barcode technology, Client printers, and RF handheld devices.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with RFGen Version 6 migration or upgrade projects.
• Experience stabilizing and tuning RFGen applications in production environments.
• Exposure to Android-based RF devices and browser-based mobility solutions.
• Experience supporting warehouse management, inventory, or manufacturing mobility applications.
