This requisition is for a RF Test Technician II reporting to Tim Grimes, Product Line Manager Supervisor.
This position is regular, Full-Time, Non-Exempt, Onsite.
The starting hourly rate will be $24.00-$33.00/hour ($49,920.00 - $68,640.00/annually). The actual salary will depend on experience and background of the candidate selected.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience or training.
- 2+ years of experience required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Shop floor environment / workbench or workstation.
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time.
- Ability to work under a microscope for an extended period of time.
- Ability to perform repetitive motion.
- Manufacturing floor includes equipment with high and cold temperatures, high voltages, and sharp tools.
- May be required to lift up to 50 lbs.

GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Test Technician II is responsible for the tuning, testing and troubleshooting of RF, Microwave and Millimeter Wave electronic components and multi-function assemblies. Primary work is performed in a clean room environment. Conducts functional tests to ensure company and customer specifications are met.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Perform tuning, testing and troubleshooting of RF, Microwave and Millimeter Wave electronic components to meet required specifications.
- Understanding of basic RF and DC testing that is required in support of production hardware, including but not limited to Frequency, Gain, Gain Flatness, Noise Figure, Return Loss, P1dB Compression, second and third order intercept points, and DC Current.
- Ability to use and understand standard test equipment, including but not limited to network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, scalar analyzers, noise figure analyzers, oscilloscopes, sweep generators, multimeters, power supplies and power meters.
- Inspects assemblies to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
- Must possess good dexterity and be able to work under a microscope for extended lengths of time.
- Ability to analyze and document results for items tuned and/or tested.
- Work in a manufacturing environment and able to meet targets/goals.
- Able to understand and work from verbal instructions, test specs, wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Understand and follow all safety requirements, as well as ISO Procedures.
- Ability to work independently with minimal to no supervision.
- Work with engineering and quality teams to provide feedback on current production problems and improvement ideas.
- Other job duties as assigned.
