RF (Radio Frequency) Technician | UAN - 10EF0A Department: Engineering / RF Test & Production Location: Office / MVG, Inc (Warminster, PA) Type: Full-time About the Role MVG is seeking an RF Technician to assemble, integrate, test, and troubleshoot RF assemblies and subsystems in a hands -on lab and production environment. This role directly supports product validation and design improvement by ensuring RF components and sy stems meet design specifications, industry standards, and government contract requirements. It is ideal for a certified electronics/electrical technician with strong RF test equipment experience, precise soldering skills, and a methodical approach to troub leshooting. Responsibilities - Ensure comprehensive functional and performance testing of RF assemblies against design specifications and industry standards. - Implement assembly, integration, and verification activities for RF subsystems, including connectors, cables, filters, amplifiers, and related RF components. - Manage precise soldering work on RF and electronic components, including surface -mount and through -hole devices, for assembly and repair. - Oversee setup, calibration, operation, and maintenance of RF test equipment used in component - and system -level validation. - Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues identified during testing and integration phases. - Define clear technical documentation, including test procedures, results, observations, and recommendations supporting design improvements and product validation. Requirements - Must be a U.S. Citizen due to government contract requirements. - Certified Practical Engineer or Technician in Electronics/Electrical Engineering is mandatory. - Hands-on experience with RF laboratory equipment, including RF signal generators, spectrum analyzers, and Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) such as PNA or equivalent. - Proven ability to perform high -precision soldering on RF and electronic components following IPC or equivalent standards. - Experience calibrating and operating RF test setups for component - and system -level validation. - Ability to work independently to analyze complex test results, identify root causes of failures, and recommend corrective actions. - Proficiency in preparing clear, structured technical reports and documentation, with excellent problem -solving and methodical RF troubleshooting skills.
