RF Engineer II

Job Summary:

The RF Engineering team is seeking someone who will provide technical leadership to resolve issues that may arise during assembly, production testing, and integration of complex RF/Microwave products. The ideal engineer will demonstrate strong cross-functional collaboration skills, while working effectively with program management, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to support the objectives of a high-impact defense program.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on product troubleshooting in manufacturing and development environments
• Assist with ongoing engineering development projects and product initiatives
• Work with engineers and technicians for offline asset reduction
• Support definition and implementation of producibility improvements
• Work with Lead Engineers on design updates
• Collaborate and effectively communicate with cross-functional product teams

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor''s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in High Reliability, Aerospace, or Defense Electronics product development and manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills within fast-paced environments, with a proven ability to collaborate and thrive in team-oriented settings
• Experience with test equipment to test/troubleshoot RF/Microwave circuits at the module and component level
• Experience using data analysis tools such as MATLAB and simulation software (Microwave Office, ADS, HFSS)
• Active DoD Secret Clearance required on day one

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master''s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Experience testing/troubleshooting analog, digital and mixed signal circuits at the module and component level
• System level troubleshooting for digital, analog, and power circuits
• Transfer to production of new or existing designs
• Familiar with FPGA and Programmable Logic design
• Ability to work on multiple programs in the same timeframe
• Experience in failure analysis/Root-Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations
