RF Engineer I

Job Summary

Mercury Systems is seeking an RF Engineer for our Hudson, NH location to support the design and testing of advanced RF components and integrated assemblies. Working alongside senior engineers, you'll contribute to a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and continuously advancing technical capabilities. You''ll be evaluating RF components/modules to flow back into simulations and designs to better predict module/system performance.

Mercury Systems offers a small, collaborative team environment where you expand your skills both in depth and breadth, while working on multiple projects.

Job Responsibility:

• Test and evaluate RF components and modules to ensure performance meets design specifications.
• Generate and maintain bills of materials (BOMs) for RF products and assemblies.
• Design and support the development of test fixtures for RF characterization.
• Support ongoing engineering development projects and product initiatives.
• Support the creation and maintenance of technical design documentation.
• Provide engineering support for existing products while working closely with senior engineers.

Required Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
• Experience with RF theory principles through coursework, academic project work, or industry work.
• Experience using electronic test equipment such as oscilloscopes, signal analyzers, or related diagnostic tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Quick learner with the ability to rapidly acquire and apply new skills.
• This position will require an active DoD Security Clearance to start working on the first day. US Citizenship is required.

Preferred Qualification:

• Solid understanding of RF circuit fundamentals and design techniques.
• Experience with RF simulation tools such as AWR, MATLAB, HFSS, or equivalent circuit/EM simulation software.
• Experience with CAD tools for circuit design and layout.
• Capable of independently conducting RF measurements using Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Generators, and other lab instrumentation.
