***Employnet is currently seeking a Rework Operator for a growing company in Carson City, NV, offering $24 - $25.50/PH***

A Rework Operator performs specialized circuit board modifications, soldering repairs, and manual assembly updates. Operating within the hardware manufacturing division, this role focuses on fixing defects in complex Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBAs) identified during the server integration testing process.



Key Responsibilities
  • PCBA Board Repair: Execute precision rework and component modifications on surface-mount technology (SMT) and plated through-hole (PTH) electronics assemblies.
  • Precision Soldering: Perform hand soldering and touch-up work holding tolerances to exact system blueprint specifications.
  • Advanced Tool Operation: Operate specialized machinery including Ball Grid Array (BGA) rework stations, X-ray inspection equipment, pre-heating tables, and hot air guns.
  • Process Compliance: Differentiate between leaded and lead-free manufacturing processes while strictly adhering to safety rules and Quality Control Manual (QCM) standards.
  • Documentation and Routing: Review defect patterns, create clean inspection reports, and coordinate configuration adjustments inside the manufacturing execution system (MES).
  • New Hire Guidance: Demonstrate standard work methods, tool safety parameters, and equipment operation protocols to incoming facility technicians
Core Requirements
  • Certifications: Strong familiarity with IPC industry quality benchmarks, such as IPC-A-610, IPC-A-600, or IPC 7711/7721 standards.
  • Experience: Typically requires 3–4 years of technical manufacturing experience specifically focused on electronic component repair and assembly.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Physical Stamina: Capability to stand, bend, kneel, and safely lift or push components weighing up to 50 pounds on the production floor.

Must be able to pass background

Offering two shifts: 

Day: 6:00am - 2:30pm Monday - Friday 

Swing: 3:00pm-11:30pm Monday - Friday
