Position Details

  • Full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
  • On-site position located at our Administrative Offices in Centerville, OH

Position Summary

The Rewards Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing employee compensation programs that attract, motivate, and retain top talent. This role ensures compensation structures, incentive programs, bonuses, and pay practices remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with organizational goals while maintaining compliance with applicable labor laws and company policies. The Rewards Manager partners with leadership to support strategic compensation initiatives and maintain the integrity of the organization's total rewards programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, administer, and evaluate compensation programs that support organizational objectives and talent strategies.
  • Benchmark positions using market surveys and compensation data to establish and maintain competitive salary ranges.
  • Maintain and update salary grades and compensation structures as needed.
  • Prepare salary recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employee compensation actions.
  • Process compensation changes and corrections within the HRIS.
  • Maintain and audit job titles, job codes, and other position-related data in the HRIS.
  • Develop, maintain, and update job descriptions while evaluating positions to determine appropriate classifications and pay ranges.
  • Assist with the administration of annual merit increases, incentive programs, bonus payments, and other compensation initiatives.
  • Review existing compensation practices and recommend enhancements to support organizational goals and market competitiveness.
  • Ensure compensation programs comply with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and organizational leaders on compensation-related projects and employee inquiries.
  • Assist other departments and organizational initiatives as requested.
  • Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement activities that support Ohio's Hospice services.
  • Serve as a preceptor for new team members when assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Two years of compensation analyst or compensation management experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of compensation principles, market benchmarking, job evaluation, and HRIS systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.
  • State minimum automobile insurance coverage.
  • Ability to travel as needed, including daytime, evening, or inclement weather driving.
