Lead the Flow of Critical Repair Materials on Second Shift
At Symbotic, you’ll be the on-shift authority for warehouse operations that keep our customers up and running. As the Warehouse Lead for reverse logistics and repair materials, you’ll guide the team through a fast-moving evening schedule, ensure every movement is captured in SAP S/4HANA EWM, and keep safety front and center.
Shift: 2nd shift, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM
A Second-Shift Snapshot
You arrive before 3 PM to review inbound RMAs and outbound commitments. After a quick huddle with your crew, you prioritize manual picking of small parts and sub-assemblies for repair work and customer orders, then move on to bin-to-bin transfers and staging. A logistics call locks in truck schedules; you verify UPS labels for RMA shipments and monitor EWM queues for Customer Sales Orders, Stock Transfer Orders (STOs), and Inbound RMA Sales Orders. Mid-shift, you’ll be on the floor—driving a forklift to replenish locations up to 46 feet high, loading and unloading bots, recording serial numbers, and wrapping containers for departure. Before handoff, you reconcile SAP transactions, pull KPI reports in SAP and Excel, and close out open issues with cross-functional partners.

Within our Service Center of Excellence in Wilmington, the warehouse group handles service, repair, testing, evaluation, and field support materials. The team manages shipping, receiving, and material handling with a strong focus on repair and service parts that meet customer service requirements—partnering closely with other departments to keep material movement accurate and on time.
What You’ll Drive
- Coach, develop, and lead a high-performing warehouse team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional groups; lead root-cause and problem-solving efforts.
- Troubleshoot SAP issues and partner with technical experts as needed.
- Manually pick small parts and assemblies for repairs and customer shipments.
- Execute bin-to-bin transfers and all EWM transactions in SAP S/4HANA.
- Hold the line on quality, safety, production, and repair standards.
- Process UPS shipments for RMA materials and parts requiring repair.
- Run SAP fulfillment/receiving: Customer Sales Orders, STOs, Inbound RMA Sales Orders, and Inbound Deliveries for RMA material.
- Track transactions and KPIs using SAP reporting and Microsoft Excel.
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to transport, replenish, and stack up to 46 feet.
- Load/unload bots to/from trailers and storage; prepare for shipment, capture serial numbers, and wrap containers.
- Coordinate truck shipments with logistics.
- Pitch in on additional tasks as assigned.
What You Bring
- High school diploma (or equivalent).
- Minimum 2 years in warehouse operations, inventory control/logistics, materials handling, storage layout, and shipping/receiving.
- Hands-on SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) experience: Customer Sales Orders, STOs, Inbound RMA Sales Orders, and Inbound Deliveries.
- Proven experience processing UPS transactions for RMA materials and repair-bound parts.
- Strong skill with SAP reporting and Microsoft Excel to monitor KPIs and performance.
- Demonstrated leadership with the ability to mentor, schedule, and direct a team.
- Exceptional organization and attention to detail in shipments and SAP transactions.
- Creative problem-solver, especially with discrepancies and system issues.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse operation.
Work Environment & Physical Demands
- Frequent stair climbing in/around automation structures; regular proximity to elevated railings.
- Indoor environment with weather protection but variable temperatures: approximately 105° to 32° F.
- At times, work at active construction areas with PPE required: hard hat, safety vest, steel-toe footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and fall protection (e.g., harness).
- Frequently lift up to 50 lbs and move items up to 80 lbs safely and efficiently.
- Stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10–12 hours); frequent reaching with hands/arms.
- Work at heights up to ~45 feet and in confined spaces as narrow as ~24 inches; ability to stand, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as needed.
- Capable of continuous/occasional sensory and physical activities (seeing, hearing, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, balancing, gripping, climbing, crawling, sitting, handling objects) and repetitive movements using both hands and feet.
- Adhere to all safety requirements, including Lockout/Tagout and fall-protection protocols.
