Reverse Logistics Manager

This individual will partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Service to improve recovery rates, reduce costs, identify product failure trends, and ensure an excellent customer experience. This is a fully onsite leadership position in the Hutto/Georgetown, Texas area and is well suited for someone who enjoys being close to the operation, developing teams, and driving measurable improvements across complex reverse logistics processes.

We are seeking an experienced Reverse Logistics Manager to lead reverse supply chain operations within a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing environment. This position will oversee customer returns, RMA processing, repairs, refurbishment, warranty recovery, inventory recovery, and product disposition.
 
The ideal candidate is a hands-on operational leader with experience building and improving reverse logistics processes. This individual will partner closely with Supply Chain, Operations, Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and Customer Service to improve recovery rates, reduce costs, identify product failure trends, and ensure an excellent customer experience.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Lead reverse logistics operations including returns, RMA, repairs, refurbishment, warranty claims, asset recovery, and product disposition.
• Develop and manage end-to-end RMA processes for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure returned products and materials are received, inspected, processed, and dispositioned efficiently.
• Oversee quarantine inventory and disposition decisions.
• Maximize inventory recovery through repair, refurbishment, component harvesting, resale, recycling, or redeployment.
• Partner with Finance and Supply Chain to reduce inventory write-offs and obsolete inventory costs.
• Maintain accurate inventory transactions and reconciliation within ERP and warehouse systems.
• Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing teams to identify root causes of product failures and return trends.
• Manage customer escalations related to returns, warranty, and product recovery.
• Develop KPIs and dashboards around return volumes, cycle times, failure trends, recovery rates, costs, and customer impact.
• Drive process improvements using Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, repair vendors, carriers, recyclers, and service partners.
• Lead, coach, and develop reverse logistics team members while establishing clear performance expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in reverse logistics, supply chain, manufacturing operations, warehouse management, or a related function.
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing teams and operational processes.
• Hands-on experience with RMA, warranty, repair, refurbishment, returns, or product recovery operations.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehouse operations, transportation, and supply chain processes.
• Experience working with ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Strong project management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.

 
Preferred Experience

• Experience within electronics manufacturing, server hardware, data center equipment, technology hardware, EMS, or other high-tech manufacturing environments.
• Experience with failure analysis, warranty management, and/or repair depot operations.
• Experience supporting global customers or international reverse logistics operations.
• Experience with WMS and transportation management systems.
• APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD.
• Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma certification.
