Revenue Specialist Bureau of Insurance (Hybrid)

Starting Salary Range: $51,418 - $66,500

The State Corporation Commissions (SCC) Bureau of Insurance (BOI) seeks a detail-oriented candidate to contribute to its Revenue Management section. This section is responsible for managing all of revenue functions for BOI, including Appointment Billing and Assessments and oversees the collection of fees in accordance with the Code of Virginia. This position offers a hybrid telework schedule (some telework and some in-office days each week) as well as training and professional development opportunities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage the administrative close-out and daily deposits, to include payment processing, bank deposits, returns, and refunds
• Manage the annual surplus lines assessments and assist with the annual Company Assessment process
• Manage the Appointment Billing (both quarterly and renewal) processes
• Work closely with various BOI divisions to ensure payments and applications are processed timely
• Assist with the development of procedures for the section
• Maintain the Revenue Management sections SharePoint site
• Collaborate with various vendors, including banking and system, to ensure optimal performance
• Perform related work as required
