Revenue Cycle Manager Job Description: 

PrideStaff is working with a well known healthcare provider who is seeking a Revenue Cycle Manager to join their team.  The Revenue Cycle Manager will manage and oversee daily operations of the Revenue Cycle Department, including insurance billing, coding support, payment posting, accounts receivable management, denial resolution, and revenue optimization.  The ideal Revenue Cycle Manager has multiple years of direct revenue cycle experience, holds a Bachelor’s degree or higher, demonstrates excellent knowledge of insurance billing, accounts receivables, as well as superb leadership and management skills. The Revenue Cycle Manager is a full time, temp to hire position near Alpharetta, GA. 


Revenue Cycle Manager Job Responsibilities: 

  • Manage The Revenue Cycle From Patient Registration Through Final Payment
  • Train Revenue Cycle Staff Through Coaching, Training, & Performance Management 
  • Monitor KPI’s Including Days in Accounts Receivable, Clean Claim Rate, First Pass Resolution Rate, Denial Rate, Net Collection Rate, & Aging Accounts 
  • Develop Action Plans to Reduce Denials & Improve Cash Flow 
  • Analyze Trends & Implement Strategies to Maximize Reimbursement 
  • Collaborate With Clients & Executive Leadership to Improve Documentation & Billing Accuracy 
  • Ensure Compliance With Medicare, Medi-Cal, Commercial Payer, & Regulatory Requirements 
  • Oversee Payer Audits, Appeals, Contact Implementation, & Reimbursement Analysis
  • Lead Revenue Cycle Projects Including Workflow Improvements, Automation, & System Optimization 


Revenue Cycle Manager Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma Required 
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Related Field Required; MBA or MHA, Preferred 
  • 5+ Years of Finance Experience & Healthcare Provider Revenue Cycle Experience 
  • 2+ Years of Leading Revenue Cycle Transformation  Engagements With Measurable Impact on Net Revenue, Denial Rates, Cash Acceleration, or Operational Efficiency 
  • Superb Financial Acumen, With Proven Business Case Development, Model Revenue Scenarios, Forecast Engagement Economics, & Develop Early Warning Indicators 
  • 2+ Years of Direct People Management Experience, Including Leading, Coaching, & Developing Teams in a Project-Based Environment 
  • Proven Experience Advising or Deploying AI Automation in Revenue Cycle Contexts For Coding, Analytics For Denials Prediction, Prior Authorization, or Patient Financial Engagement 
  • Hands-on Experience With Payer Contracting Strategy, Managed Care Optimization, or Underpayment Recovery
  • Proficient With Data Visualization & Analytic Tools Such as Tableau, Power BI, & Python Applied to Revenue Cycle Performance Improvement 
  • Demonstrates Previous Knowledge of RCM Regulatory Environment, Including HIPAA, CMS Billing & Coding Requirements, Price Transparency Rules, & Prior Authorization Mandates 
  • Superb Attention to Details & The Ability to Resolve Issues Quickly & Accurately
  • Demonstrates Excellent Communication & Organizational Skills
