Dynamic Medical Centers is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented
Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist to support our growing, multi-specialty medical practice. Our specialties include podiatry, physical therapy, sports medicine, occupational therapy, and pain management.
We are looking for a motivated professional with strong medical billing knowledge, excellent problem-solving skills, and a commitment to maximizing reimbursement and maintaining an efficient revenue cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the revenue cycle process, including claims submission, payment posting, accounts receivable follow-up, and denial management.
- Review and resolve claim denials, rejections, and billing discrepancies.
- Follow up with insurance companies regarding outstanding claims, delayed payments, and underpayments.
- Investigate billing issues and submit appeals when appropriate.
- Monitor accounts receivable aging and work to reduce outstanding balances.
- Review EOBs and insurance remittance advice to ensure accurate payment processing.
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation.
- Collaborate with front-office staff, providers, and management to resolve billing and reimbursement issues.
- Identify recurring denial trends and recommend improvements to revenue cycle processes.
- Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and applicable healthcare billing regulations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in medical billing, revenue cycle management, or healthcare accounts receivable.
- Strong understanding of insurance claims, EOBs, denials, appeals, and payer guidelines.
- Experience working with commercial insurance, Medicare, and other healthcare payers.
- Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with the credentialing process is a bonus.
- Experience using eClinicalWorks (eCW).
- Experience in a multi-specialty medical practice.
- Demonstrated success in insurance AR follow-up and denial resolution.
- Experience identifying opportunities to improve collections and reduce outstanding receivables.
Compensation & Position Details
- Position: Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Specialist
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Location: Northern Virginia
- Salary Range: 65,000-78,000 annually, based on experience
