Job Summary (in list format) for Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Program Director:

- Provide leadership and strategic direction for all end-to-end revenue cycle operations across DSOHF facilities.
- Oversee key functions including patient access, health information management, coding, billing, accounts receivable, payer management, and collections.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimize financial performance, improve cash flow, and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Minimize claim denials and manage complex Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial payer billing requirements.
- Lead, mentor, and guide a multi-tiered team of managers and specialized staff.
- Partner with senior leadership, state agencies, and payer organizations to align revenue cycle operations with organizational financial goals.
- Oversee metrics and reporting, including KPIs such as A/R days, denial rates, clean claims, and net collections.
- Ensure audit readiness and maintain strong internal controls and compliance frameworks.
- Direct technology optimization, analytics, automation, and reporting within Epic and related systems.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, clinical operations, IT, compliance, and external payer organizations.
- Present complex financial, operational, and regulatory information to executive leadership.
- Drive organizational change, standardization, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
