    TITLE: Revenue Cycle Education & Training Specialist

    JOB OVERVIEW: The Revenue Cycle Education & Training Specialist develops, coordinates, and delivers education and training programs that support the knowledge, skills, and performance of Revenue Cycle staff. This role is responsible for ensuring employees are proficient in Revenue Cycle processes and develops ongoing training resources that support workflows, regulatory requirements, operational standards, policies and procedures, and contributes to positive patient experience outcomes. In partnership with department leadership, the Specialist conducts quality assurance and competency assessments, identifies staff educational and training needs, delivers targeted education to promote consistency, regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and optimal financial performance. The Specialist serves as a resource, providing guidance and feedback to support staff training, competency, and application of established practices. DEPARTMENT: Financial Advocacy

    WORK HOURS: Monday - Friday, typically 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Flexibility may be required to meet department and organization needs.

    REPORTS TO: Director, Patient Administrative Services and Access

    PREREQUISITES:

    Bachelor''s degree in Healthcare Administration, Education, Adult Learning and/or Instructional Design or a related field required. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

    Minimum three (3) years'' relevant hospital and/or professional revenue cycle experience, including two (2) years in training, education, or staff development; experience developing and delivering healthcare training programs and materials required.

    Experience in EPIC required.

    Proficient in various computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    Knowledge of adult learning theory to design, implement, and continuously improve curriculum and training initiatives. Effectively tailors educational approaches to diverse audiences, utilizes multiple teaching methodologies, and facilitates change through clear communication, coaching, and learner engagement.

    Demonstrate effective process management skills and contribute to the development and implementation of curriculum and workflows.

    Demonstrate a commitment to excellent customer service, exercise sound judgment with discretion, remain decisive under pressure, and consistently maintain a positive and professional demeanor.

    Exceptional organizational and self-management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and manage multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    Ability to collaborate and work in a multidisciplinary team environment.

    Demonstrate strong presentation/facilitation skills for both classroom and 1:1/at-the-elbow training.

    Demonstrate strong written communication for SOP and job aid development.

    Demonstrate data literacy with ability to use QA/productivity metrics to identify training gaps.
