Revenue Cycle Analyst

2. Serves a principal role in the department's education, implementation, and oversight of revenue cycle compliance relating, but not limited, to: account/service assignment; authorizations; chart documentation; billing; charge entry and reconciliation: contingency planning; supply management; and contract reimbursement. Overview: The Revenue Cycle Analyst is responsible for ensuring that the hospital's revenue cycle processes are documented, understood and acted upon by the various clinical-financial areas within the hospital.

Responsibilities:

1. Performs detailed analyses in order to develop, recommend and implement workplace improvements that support standardization and integration of the revenue cycle workflow.

2. Serves a principal role in the department's education, implementation, and oversight of revenue cycle compliance relating, but not limited, to: account/service assignment; authorizations; chart documentation; billing; charge entry and reconciliation: contingency planning; supply management; and contract reimbursement.

3. Develops, reviews, analyzes and reports various audit reports relating to each department's revenue cycle processes in order to identify.

Qualifications:

1. Usual education and experience needed for satisfactory performance is a High School diploma or GED certificate required or equivalent job-related experience.

2. One or more years of experience in revenue cycle or healthcare operations within a multi-specialty hospitals and/or clinic environment.
