About the Opportunity

We are currently hiring for a New Graduate Revenue Cycle Analyst position with one of our clients in Chicago, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates and early-career professionals who are interested in healthcare operations, revenue cycle management, data analysis, reporting, and business process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support analysis of healthcare revenue cycle processes, including billing, claims, payments, denials, and accounts receivable.
  • Gather and analyze business and operational data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for business and healthcare stakeholders.
  • Assist with monitoring key revenue cycle metrics and performance indicators.
  • Analyze claims, billing, payment, denial, and reimbursement data using Excel, SQL, and other analytical tools.
  • Support identification and investigation of claim denials, payment discrepancies, and process inefficiencies.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and operational challenges.
  • Document business processes, workflows, requirements, and recommendations.
  • Assist with process improvement initiatives related to billing, collections, claims, and reimbursement.
  • Track issues, action items, project deliverables, and follow-ups.
  • Participate in meetings with business, finance, healthcare operations, and technical teams.
  • Support testing, validation, reporting, and implementation of process improvements.
  • Communicate analytical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Health Informatics, Business Administration, Business Analytics, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • New graduates and candidates with limited professional experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze information and identify trends or discrepancies.
  • Ability to understand business processes and translate findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Python, or other analytical tools.
  • Academic, internship, or project experience involving healthcare data, financial analysis, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Familiarity with Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) concepts.
  • Understanding of healthcare billing, claims, reimbursement, denials, or accounts receivable is a plus.
  • Familiarity with healthcare terminology, EHR systems, or claims data is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS, or medical billing concepts is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience creating reports, dashboards, process flows, or analytical presentations.
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
