We're hiring a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team and play a key role in keeping our warehouse operation running smoothly, efficiently and accurately.
Please note: this is a 12-month fixed term role for maternity cover.
This is a hands-on coordination role, focusing on returns and working closely with Warehouse Team Leaders, Supply Chain and Customer Service to ensure orders are fulfilled on time, stock is accurately controlled, and business priorities are effectively communicated across the warehouse.
You'll be responsible for coordinating daily warehouse activities, supporting fulfilment and inventory processes, monitoring operational performance and helping resolve issues when they arise.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities to support efficient stock control and order fulfilment operations.
- Process inventory transactions accurately, including returns, stock discrepancies, stock checks, and system updates.
- Coordinate fulfilment activities, ensuring orders are prioritised, scheduled, and communicated effectively across teams.
- Consolidate orders where applicable to reduce transit costs while insuring delivery is on time, in full, and without damage.
- Generate all supporting documentation for a shipment including packing slips, delivery notes, commercial invoices, required MSDS sheets, and any other documentation.
- Support Warehouse Team Leaders with day-to-day operational planning and task coordination.
- Monitor and report on warehouse KPIs, maintaining accurate records and operational data.
- Support the investigation and resolution of customer complaints, operational issues, and inventory discrepancies.
- Maintain effective communication between Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams to support business priorities.
- Maintain safe, clean, and organised warehouse and storage areas.
- Follow all Health & Safety, Quality, GMP, and SOP requirements, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, warehouse projects, and cross-functional team activities.
Skills & Experience Required:
Essential
- PC literate and familiar with both word and spreadsheet packages
- Experience effectively communicating and coordinating tasks within a team
- Previous experience of working as part of warehouse / operations team
Desirable
- Experience of using ERP / WMS systems
- Experience working in an environment with inventory traceability at a serial or lot level
- Experience with export documentation including customs invoices, packing slips, delivery notes, and requirements for dangerous goods transport
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures and ensuring adherence amongst team
- Experience of working in a high-pressure environment with the ability to work towards achieving objectives against tight deadlines
- Background working in a manufacturing/ warehouse / process driven environment
