    Description

    Our client, a banking company, is looking for multiple Customer Service Representatives for their Hopewell, NJ location.

    The Retirement and Benefits Specialist is dedicated to helping plan participants navigate their financial futures with confidence. In this role, you will support participants in employer-sponsored 401(k), pension, and non-qualified deferred compensation plans.     Key Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for participants in 401(k), pension, and non-qualified deferred compensation plans, delivering clear, empathetic, and accurate information regarding their accounts.
    • Guide participants step-by-step through platform navigation, account inquiries, and how to properly execute various retirement plan transactions.
    • Accurately and efficiently process financial transactions, contributions, distributions, and updates while adhering to strict quality control and compliance standards to ensure error-free execution.
    • Translate complex retirement concepts into easy-to-understand terms to help participants make informed decisions about their savings and benefits.
    • Maintain detailed records of participant interactions and collaborate with internal operations teams to resolve escalated issues or complex account inquiries.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in customer service, financial services, retirement plan administration, or human resources benefits.
    • Working knowledge of employer-sponsored retirement plans (401(k), pensions, deferred compensation) and relevant regulatory guidelines.
    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a strong customer-first mindset.
    • Exceptional precision and organizational skills, with a proven track record of accurate financial data entry and processing.
    • Comfortable learning proprietary financial systems, recordkeeping software, and standard office applications.
