Our client is seeking a Retail Superintendent | Long Island, NY to oversee retail construction and renovation projects across Long Island. This individual will manage daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards.

Our client is an established retail construction general contractor specializing in flagship retail stores, tenant improvements, grocery, big-box, and high-end retail fit-out projects throughout Long Island and the greater NYC market. The company has a strong project pipeline and longstanding relationships with regional and national retail brands.

Description

As a Retail Superintendent | Long Island, NY you will

• Oversee day-to-day construction activities on retail projects
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, and project schedules
• Coordinate project logistics and material deliveries
• Maintain quality control and safety compliance
• Conduct site meetings and provide progress updates
• Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Resolve field issues and maintain strong client relationships

Profile

A successful Retail Superintendent | Long Island, NY should have:

• 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a general contractor
• Retail, commercial interiors, or tenant fit-out construction experience
• Strong scheduling and subcontractor management skills
• Experience working in occupied retail environments
• OSHA 30 certification preferred
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities
