Job Overview

We are seeking a Retail Store Designer with 2–5 years of professional experience in retail store design. The ideal candidate will have experience designing retail environments, creating store layouts, and preparing design documentation. A strong portfolio showcasing retail design projects is required.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop retail store designs, including floor plans and storefront elevations.
• Create store layouts and space planning solutions.
• Prepare construction drawings and design documentation.
• Assist with material takeoffs and coordinate design updates with the construction team.
• Design retail fixtures, storefronts, lighting concepts, and store architecture.
• Review consultant and landlord drawings to ensure design accuracy.
• Present design concepts to leadership and incorporate feedback.
• Collaborate with construction and purchasing teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Industrial Design (or equivalent experience).
• 2–5 years of experience in retail store design within a corporate environment or design consultancy.
• Strong proficiency in:
  • AutoCAD
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Adobe InDesign
  • Adobe Acrobat
  • Microsoft Office

Preferred Skills

• Retail space planning
• Store layout and storefront design
• Construction drawings
• Material takeoffs
• Strong communication and presentation skills

Important Requirements

• Retail design experience is required.
• A portfolio/work samples must be submitted with your application.
• Candidates with only residential or office interior design experience will not be considered.
