Based on our tremendous growth we are adding to our Retail Team and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Store Associate to be based at our Buffalo, NY location.JOB SUMMARYProvide a high level of customer service and interact with customers. Assist customers in person, over the phone and via email. Handle all retail transactions including cash, credit card, check and on-account purchases. Have a positive attitude and demeanor and are expected to develop a working knowledge of the products that they sell. Provide prompt service to customers and to return phone calls and emails in a timely fashion.RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist customers with all types of sales including, but not limited to uniforms, firearms, and ammunition in person, over the phone and via emailComplete required sales paperwork and registration documents for firearms salesAccountability in all retail transactions including cash, credit card, and on-account purchasesProvide prompt and courteous customer service in person and over the phoneResearch information on products or orders for customers and provide communication to assist them in making the best product choiceAssist with inventory placement, organization, and countingContinually develop comprehensive product knowledge on existing and new product linesAttend organizational or training meetingsReport problems or issues to the Store Manager or Assistant ManagerMerchandise and organize products on the sales floorMaintain a clean, safe and organized retail showroomOther duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY & OPERATIONAL AUTHORITY
Reports directly to the Store Manager or Assistant Store ManagerGiven business requirements, and in the absence of a Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager, may have operational control of store for short periods of time
