Pay Range: Regular Pay: $95.00 – $100.00/hr
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialized pharmaceutical services to improve drug usage and therapeutic outcomes
  • Prepare and dispense all medications, ensuring accuracy and compliance with state/federal requirements
  • Advise physicians on drug therapy, toxicity, side effects, and appropriate dosing
  • Instruct patients on proper use of prescribed drugs
  • Maintain relationships with medical and nursing staff
  • Conduct medication use reviews and assess patient compliance
  • Ensure medicinal products are stored appropriately and securely
  • Process all cash and credit transactions
  • Provide monthly consulting to contracted LTC facilities
  • Mentor pharmacy, medical, and nursing students

  • Shift: Days (Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM) – Saturday rotation (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM) – NO Holidays!
  • Expected Hours: 40 hours per week
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
  • Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy
  • Current Nebraska state license to practice pharmacy required
  • PharmD preferred
  • 3 years of retail pharmacy experience preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Pharmacist required
  • Cerner EMR experience preferred
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA
  • Saturday rotation required (9:00 AM – 1:00 PM)
  • No holiday coverage required
  • Locals are accepted – no radius restriction
