Retail Sales & Warehouse Associate | 1st Shift
About this Role:
Personnel Services Unlimited is seeking a motivated Retail Sales /Warehouse Associate for our client in Shelby, NC. This is a 1st shift, full-time opportunity with the potential for permanent hire.
- Pay: $16.50/hour
- Job Type: Full-time, Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Shelby, NC
- Schedule: Monday to Thursday / (Four) 10-hour Shifts / 9:30 AM - 8 PM
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet customers and provide friendly, professional service.
- Operate the cash register and process cash and credit card transactions
- Unload delivery trucks and stock merchandise in the warehouse and retail store.
- Operate forklifts and order pickers as needed
- Maintain inventory, stock displays, and a clean, organized work environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous retail, warehouse, or customer service experience preferred.
- Cash handling or point-of-sale (POS) experience preferred.
- Forklift and/or order picker experience preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and unload a delivery truck
- Able to stand, walk, bend, and stock merchandise throughout the shift.
- Basic computer skills with strong attention to detail.
- Valid driver's license required
