Willow is looking for a full-time team member with the opportunity to grow into store management.
We are open to two types of candidates: an experienced retail leader who is ready to step into management, or an exceptional salesperson with the potential and desire to grow quickly into leadership.
For the right person, our goal is to develop you through our leadership path:
Full-Time Sales Associate Key Holder Assistant Manager Store Manager
You do not need to have already managed a retail store to be considered. We care just as much about your work ethic, judgment, sales ability, reliability, initiative and ability to lead others.
Willow is a locally owned women's fashion retailer founded in 2007, with four brick-and-mortar stores along Florida's 30A area.
We are known for elevated women's clothing, accessories and jewelry, personalized service, and creating an exceptional experience for our customers.
Our core values are Loyalty, Productivity, Accountability, Integrity and VIP Customer Service.
This is a hands-on retail leadership opportunity. Our managers aren't sitting in a back office while everyone else sells. They are active on the sales floor, building customer relationships, styling customers, developing their teams and setting the standard for the store.
The right person will be someone who:
Genuinely enjoys selling, styling and working with customers
Builds relationships and remembers the details that make customers feel valued
Takes initiative instead of waiting to be told what needs to be done
Is highly organized and dependable
Notices details and takes pride in maintaining a beautiful store
Communicates clearly and professionally
Can give direction and hold others accountable while maintaining a positive team environment
Is comfortable making decisions and solving problems
Wants to learn the business, not simply work a shift
Is interested in building a long-term career with Willow
Luxury or specialty retail experience is a plus, but strong sales, hospitality or customer-service experience can translate very well to this position.
Depending on your experience, you may begin by learning Willow as a full-time Sales Associate before taking on additional leadership responsibilities.
As you progress, responsibilities may include:
Sales & VIP Customer Service
Provide exceptional, personalized service; style customers; develop strong product knowledge; build lasting customer relationships; complete client outreach and follow-up; and help the store meet or exceed its sales goals.
Team Leadership & Development
Set the example on the sales floor, help train and develop Sales Associates, communicate expectations, provide feedback, recognize problems early and help create a productive and professional store environment.
Store Operations
Learn and oversee opening and closing procedures, POS operations, cash handling, deposits, inventory processes, transfers, receiving, restocking, shipping, loss prevention and other daily store procedures.
Scheduling & Staffing
Help maintain appropriate store coverage, communicate scheduling needs, plan around peak periods and work with Willow leadership to address staffing or coverage issues.
Merchandising & Store Presentation
Maintain Willow's standards for merchandising, cleanliness, organization and overall store appearance. Help ensure new merchandise is received, processed, displayed and ready to sell.
Sales Planning & Performance
Understand store sales goals, communicate goals to the team, monitor progress and help identify opportunities to improve performance.
Communication & Accountability
Communicate regularly with Willow leadership and other locations, follow through on assignments, address issues promptly and help ensure company policies and procedures are consistently followed.
This is a full-time retail position with Willow. Team members may work at different Willow locations throughout the 30A area based on training, staffing and business needs.
Retail requires flexibility. Our busiest days and seasons are often when everyone else is off, including weekends and holidays. Willow operates 363 days per year and is closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
Candidates interested in management should be comfortable working a schedule based on the needs of the business, including weekends, holidays, special events and peak seasons.
We maintain blackout periods for discretionary time off during certain high-volume retail periods, including Spring Break, Memorial Day, Labor Day, Fall Break, Thanksgiving week and the week between Christmas and New Year's Day.
We believe strongly in promoting from within.
Someone who joins us as a Sales Associate and demonstrates strong sales performance, reliability, initiative, sound judgment and leadership ability can move into Key Holder and Assistant Manager responsibilities as they become ready.
For someone who proves they can successfully lead a team and a store, the ultimate goal would be promotion to Store Manager.
Advancement is based on performance, readiness and business needs rather than simply time in the position. If you're capable and motivated, we don't believe in making you wait around for an arbitrary amount of time before giving you more responsibility.
Willow offers:
Generous employee merchandise discount
401(k) and profit-sharing eligibility after meeting plan requirements
Sales incentive opportunities for eligible Sales Associates and Managers
Training and professional development
Flexible scheduling where business needs allow
Opportunities for increased responsibility and compensation as you grow
A locally owned company where strong performance and initiative are noticed
Willow does not currently offer employer-sponsored health insurance.
Please apply even if you haven't held the title of Store Manager before.
If you are an excellent salesperson, naturally take ownership, enjoy helping other people succeed and are looking for an opportunity where you can grow into leadership, we would especially like to meet you.
Likewise, if you already have retail management experience and are ready to take on a leadership role, we'd love to talk with you about where your experience could fit within Willow.
