Responsibilities & Preferred Skills – Part-Time Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at The Spice & Tea Exchange® of Omaha, you’ll help create an inviting and flavorful experience for every guest by:

Providing Stellar Customer Service:

  • Greet every guest with our signature welcome and follow-up lines
  • Assist customers with product selection, usage tips, and personalized recommendations
  • Build connections with customers to encourage return visits and word-of-mouth referrals
Maintaining Inventory & Store Appearance:

  • Stock shelves, counters, and displays while monitoring inventory levels
  • Notify management of low-stock items to ensure product availability
  • Assist in pricing and labeling merchandise accurately
Product Handling & Preparation:

  • Blend and package products as needed
  • Retrieve requested merchandise and answer product-related questions
  • Maintain accurate product knowledge by reading materials and attending training
Following Store Procedures:

  • Adhere to operational standards and daily store procedures
  • Contribute to a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
Preferred Skills:

Strong customer service skills with a passion for creating a great experience
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to measure ingredients, use a scale, and follow recipes with basic math skills
