We are working with a privately owned commercial real estate investment and management firm that manages a portfolio of retail assets throughout the Houston area. This is a highly visible opportunity working directly with ownership in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

They are seeking an experienced Retail Property Accountant with strong NNN commercial property accounting and CAM reconciliation experience.

Position Highlights:

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare monthly financial statements and journal entries
• Perform account and bank reconciliations
• Manage property-level accounting for retail assets
• Handle CAM reconciliations, tenant recoveries, and annual true-ups
• Process tenant billings, percentage rent, and utility bill-backs
• Manage accounts receivable, tenant ledgers, and collections support
• Run Yardi financial reports including GL, rent roll, income statements, and delinquency reporting
• Partner closely with property managers and ownership on portfolio performance

Requirements:
• 3+ years of retail commercial property accounting experience
• MUST have NNN and CAM reconciliation experience
• Yardi Voyager experience required
• Strong understanding of tenant recoveries and percentage rent
• Advanced Excel skills
• Ability to manage multiple properties independently
