    Job Summary:

    The Prior Authorization Retail Pharmacist Provides pharmacy services, to include drug distribution and dispensing, drug information, drug therapy monitoring, patient education, and controlled substance regulation. Responsible for providing direct supervision of supportive personnel within the Department of Pharmacy. Actively participates in the creation of an environment that fosters patient, family, physician, and staff satisfaction. Ensures decisions made are based on the Mission and Values of ProMedica.

    This position will work remotely to support clinic and pharmacy locations, alongside Prior Authorization Billing Specialists.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: BS Pharm or PharmD

    License: Current License within the state(s) of practice- Ohio

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Physical Demands: Must be able to lift light materials, frequent standing; occasional squatting, kneeling, walking, and stairs. Must be able to move about and between workstations.
