    Job Summary and Responsibilities

    As our Casual PRN Retail Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and compassionate pharmacy care to our patients. Using your clinical expertise and commitment to exceptional service, you'll ensure every prescription is filled with precision while helping patients better understand and manage their medications.

    Every day you will provide comprehensive retail pharmacy services by reviewing and dispensing prescriptions, counseling patients, collaborating with providers, and supporting the pharmacy team to deliver an outstanding patient experience. You'll help maintain efficient pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with all state, federal, and organizational standards.

    To be successful in this role, you will combine strong clinical knowledge with exceptional attention to detail and a passion for patient care. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where collaboration, sound clinical judgment, and outstanding customer service are essential to supporting the health and well-being of our patients.

    • Review, verify, and dispense prescription medications while performing comprehensive drug utilization reviews to ensure safe and effective therapy.
    • Counsel patients on medication use, potential side effects, and proper administration in accordance with state and federal regulations.
    • Collaborate with physicians, insurance providers, and other healthcare professionals to clarify prescriptions, obtain prior authorizations, and optimize patient care.
    • Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and ancillary staff while promoting efficient workflow and maintaining regulatory compliance.
    • Monitor medication inventory, support quality and safety initiatives, and contribute to achieving departmental customer service and operational goals.

    Job Requirements

    • Active Pharmacist License in good standing in the State of Nebraska
    • BLS (Basic Life Support) with the American Heart Association
