Retail Paint Professional

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Paint Specialist to join our retail team at E. M. Heath ACE Hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential and commercial painting that includes knowledge of all painting techniques, products & supplies with a heavy concentration on Benjamin Moore and ACE brands. Level of pay will be determined by experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service that includes guidance on which products are best for certain projects
• Mixing paint & color-matching utilizing Benjamin Moores color RX program
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area adhering to safety standards
• Stocking the sales floor and managing backstock
• Inventory management

Requirements

• Team player with good communication
• Problem solving skills to assist customers, build relationships & drive sales
• Experience with residential & commercial painting
• Knowledge of painting techniques, tips & tricks
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
