Description

The Fountain Group is currently seeking an Omnichannel Retail Marketing Manager for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Johns Creek, GA – Hybrid. Details for the position are as follows:

Job Title: Omnichannel Content Manager
Location: Johns Creek, GA – Hybrid
Pay Rate: $60 - $68
Duration: 4 months
Schedule: Full-Time, Daytime, 40 hours/week

Job Description

  • Own omnichannel content execution across major U.S. retail partners, including Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, and Target.
  • Deploy and manage product content assets including imagery, on-site banners, product copy, and digital merchandising content across retailer platforms.
  • Develop and scale content strategies targeting consumers, search engines, and emerging agentic AI platforms.
  • Create and syndicate machine-readable content to improve AI discoverability.
  • Manage traditional SEO, social media, digital content, and e-retail initiatives.
  • Develop social media content calendars in partnership with internal marketing teams.
  • Coordinate external digital articles, retailer-agnostic content, and retail sales-force materials with agencies and internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with web ecosystem and digital experience teams to support omnichannel content initiatives.
  • Manage external creative agencies and retail content partners.
  • Support content strategy development based on retailer guidelines, customer requirements, and content priorities.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field preferred.

Required Skills

  • 5–7 years of content strategy and content management experience.
  • Experience managing content for retail customers, preferably large or mid-sized corporate retailers.
  • Hands-on retail/e-commerce content experience.
  • Knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Understanding of website HTML and web content architecture, including:
    • Crawling and indexation
    • Robots.txt
    • XML sitemaps
    • Canonical tags
    • Semantic clustering
    • Internal linking
    • Structured data
    • Semantic HTML
    • Image alt text
    • External linking
    • Metadata tags
  • Experience with digital content, social media, shopper marketing, or e-retail.
  • Experience managing content across omnichannel retail platforms.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Outlook.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Walmart, Costco, Sam’s Club, Target, or other major U.S. retail platforms.
  • Experience with agentic AI optimization, AI discoverability, or machine-readable content.
  • Experience with digital shopper marketing and retail media ecosystems.
  • Experience with social media strategy and content calendars.
  • Experience working with external creative or marketing agencies.
  • Experience with retailer content syndication and product content distribution.
  • Experience with website content management and digital experience platforms.
  • Project Management certification.
