Job Summary:
The Retail Manager oversees the day-to-day activities of A Sudden Impulse retail store, manages staff, manages store inventory, optimizes store performance and implements strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Implement and enforce store policies and procedures to ensure compliance and a safe work environment.
- Manage inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures.
- Examine inventory levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages.
- Manage and motivate team members, provide coaching and support for professional development.
- Assist with the sales of our store’s products with focus on maximizing sales.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Evaluate and identify customer service needs and develop necessary training to ensure team members exceed customer expectations.
- Solve customer complaints and answer customer questions with confidence to maintain positive customer relations.
- Stock shelves, maintain inventory, set up and maintain displays, ring up merchandise sales, and perform cleaning duties.
- Ensure cleanliness and professional image is kept
- Ensure compliance with all property and company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends and customer preferences to drive innovation and sales.
Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:
- 3+ years of retail management experience.
- Experience in sales is necessary.
- Strong sales ability, business acumen and awareness.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
- Strong leadership abilities.
- Flexible work hours including weekend availability.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
