About the Role:
Furniture Mart in New Orleans, LA is looking for a hardworking and dependable Retail Furniture Stockroom Associate to join our team! In this hands-on role, you'll be the backbone of our showroom floor — keeping inventory organized, product moving, and customers happy. If you love staying active, working with a team, and taking pride in a job well done, this is the opportunity for you!



Responsibilities:

• Receive, unload, and process incoming furniture shipments and deliveries
• Organize and maintain stockroom inventory for efficient product retrieval
• Pull and stage furniture orders for customer pickup and floor display
• Assist sales floor associates with moving and assembling furniture pieces
• Ensure stockroom is clean, safe, and compliant with safety standards
• Assist in sales as needed

Requirements:

• Previous stockroom, warehouse, or retail experience preferred
• Ability to lift and move heavy furniture items (up to 75 lbs or more)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
• High school diploma or GED preferred
