We are seeking an experienced Construction Retail Superintendent to oversee retail construction projects across Long Island, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will manage day-to-day field operations, coordinate subcontractors and trades, and keep projects progressing in line with schedule and expectations.

The client is a construction-focused organization delivering retail projects across Long Island and requires a hands-on Superintendent to take ownership of site operations. They are looking for a dependable construction professional who can represent the company effectively on site and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, trades, vendors, and project stakeholders.
Description
Profile
The successful candidate will have strong commercial construction experience, ideally within retail or similarly fast-paced project environments. They will be a confident field leader who can manage multiple trades, communicate clearly, solve problems quickly, and maintain control of site operations from start to finish.
You should have a strong understanding of construction sequencing, drawings, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, quality control, and site safety. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, accountable, and comfortable working directly with project managers, subcontractors, clients, and other stakeholders.
Experience managing retail fit-outs, renovations, new construction, or occupied-site projects is highly desirable. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to project sites across Long Island are also expected.
