Seashore Ace Home & Outdoor Living is looking for a motivated, dependable Retail Sales Associate to join our team.
We are a locally owned, family-run business that takes pride in providing knowledgeable service and building strong relationships with our customers. We’re looking for someone who enjoys helping people, works well as part of a team, and is interested in growing with the company.
Previous retail, sales, customer service, or related experience is preferred. We are especially interested in candidates with knowledge or experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Hardware and home improvement
- Lawn and garden
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Retail merchandising and product displays
What You’ll Do
- Help retail customers and contractors find the right products and solutions for their projects.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
- Learn our products and continue building your knowledge over time.
- Develop strong relationships with customers and help us grow our retail and contractor business.
- Assist with merchandising, product placement, seasonal displays, and maintaining an appealing and organized sales floor.
- Keep merchandise stocked, organized, and properly presented.
- Complete daily tasks and stay productive with minimal supervision.
- Work as part of a team and step in where needed.
- Use point-of-sale systems and other store technology as part of your daily work.
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who is self-motivated, dependable, comfortable with technology, and willing to take initiative. The ideal candidate has a good eye for merchandising and understands how product placement, organization, and presentation contribute to the customer experience and sales.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic are important, along with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who wants to be part of a local business, build relationships with our customers, and grow with Seashore Ace Home & Outdoor Living.
