Assistant Store Manager
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
+ Unlimited Commission + Store Performance Bonus
We're looking for an experienced Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team! If you enjoy coaching employees, driving store performance, building customer relationships, and developing your leadership skills, this could be the opportunity for you.
As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll partner with the Store Manager to support daily operations, develop team members, deliver exceptional customer service, and help drive profitability. You'll gain hands-on leadership experience while working with a wide variety of merchandise, including jewelry, electronics, tools, and more.

What You'll Do
- Support daily store operations and serve as Manager on Duty when needed
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns
- Coach, train, and develop team members to meet company standards
- Assist with recruiting, hiring, and retaining top talent
- Help drive store sales, profitability, and performance goals
- Maintain inventory accuracy and support asset protection initiatives
- Open and close the store, including cash handling and operational procedures
- Monitor loan and buying transactions to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Maintain attractive merchandising and store presentation standards
- Analyze performance metrics and support the achievement of business objectives
- Build product knowledge across a wide variety of merchandise categories
What We’re Looking For
- 18+ years old with a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Previous leadership, key-holder, supervisory, or management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, coaching, team development, and customer service skills
- Ability to stand, walk, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform physical tasks
- Flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays
- Comfortable working with a variety of merchandise (firearms in FFL locations; certification provided)
- Strong customer service skills and a team‑oriented mindset
- Basic math and computer skills; experience using retail checkout systems is a plus
- Willingness to assist customers or retrieve merchandise from exterior areas

Associates can earn 2–8% commission based on individual performance. Full details are provided during the interview process.
